Franklin Flatbreads Spruce Pond Creamery

I 'm not sure why all the crummy reviews lately but I think it 's a shame during covid that people can 't be a but more forgiving especially if you 've been here before and had great service or product. This was my first time here with our grandson. It wasn 't crowded at the window but many people seemed to be enjoying their ice cream in the tables at the parking lot perimeter. I didn 't see the back porch overlooking the pond until we were driving away . Looks like an awesome spot. This is Homemade ice cream and the price reflects that. Personally I wish they scooped smaller and reduced the size. We ordered my 3yo grandson a kiddie soft serve vanilla chocolate swirl with sprinkles of course. It was massive ; half the size would have been too big! He enjoyed it ! We also ordered a kiddie sized toasted coconut for myself. Great flavor but honestly even I could have enjoyed a smaller! There was something called mini written under kiddie which I will inquire about next time. Service was great and napkins aplenty. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a nice visit and the view while we waited for food. They had to remake our pizza due to a mistake but comped us Lemon Almond Milk ice cream due to the extended wait. We finished our ice cream just in time for the pizza. Our server, Melissa, was pleasant and perky wanting to make sure we're enjoying our experience. A+ for her quality service! We had the Kite and the Firehouse flatbreads. The flavors were unique and satisfying.

Hands down great experience. Thank you Benn for the excellent service! I suggest you all try the hot sauce, surprisingly sweet and not much heat! Also, everything is organic and they make their own ice cream! WORTH THE TRIP

This has been our regular treat during the pandemic as the flatbreads are delicious and we have also been impressed with their COVID safety procedures. My son regularly stops by the ice cream window for a treat and for many years we have found this restaurant to have excellent allergy precautions. Unfortunately last night, my son overhead an employee being asked to wrap up the business at the window so everyone could close up and go home. After placing his order and disclosing his allergy, he was told that they couldn't guarantee his safety for his ice cream order. (To be clear, he's placed this exact same order many times over the last few weeks, and I personally picked up ice cream for both my boys as recently as October 21st ! It is incredibly disappointing that either the protocols have changed due to new management, or even worse if they simply decided it wasn't worth the trouble to accommodate his allergies at the end of the night.

Small businesses are hurting right now. My Family and I were out to eat at patriot place and decided to stop at spruce pond for desert. We love their homemade ice cream! The posted hours are 9pm closing time on the website, google and yelp. We pulled in at 8:35pm and approached the window. I saw two young girls counting a till and consolidating their tips- no problem at all. The remaining 4 staff members looked busy and didn 't acknowledge us. After a minute or two I asked -through a closed sliding window if they were open.... we were ignored and it was unnecessarily rude. A young girl leaves out the side door and I ask her if they have closed yet and she replies yeah I 'm sorry about that and I replied that it would 've been nice to get a direct answer! I understand closing early if it 's slow (although I would think the owner would want the business... but ignoring your customers during posted business hours is just unacceptable. The 2 stars is for the fact that they do have great ice cream. But they also have trash customer service and this isn 't the first time I 've experienced it.
