Mccreary's Irish Pub Eatery - Franklin

The food was mediocre, but the noise level was unbearably loud. The fish was also overcooked.

I am Irish and the restaurant is Irish too. The Black Tan dish is delicious! It's a double win.

Make sure to hop in your car and make your way to McCreary's. I'll admit it wasn't my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised by its downtown Franklin location. After being seated in a cozy room that reminded me of Ireland, we decided to split a couple of entrees, an appetizer, and some soup. We were not disappointed. The bangers and mash were a highlight, especially when paired with their soda bread. The potato soup of the day was also a favorite of mine. We then shared the fish and chips and the Jam burger, both of which were delicious. We both agreed that it was one of the most satisfying dining experiences we've had in a long time. The prices were fair and the quality of the food spoke for itself. Make sure to add McCreary's to your list of must-visit restaurants for a great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service.

We had the shortest wait out of the three restaurants we tried. Our server was great, but unfortunately, the food was lacking. The fish and chips were a bit greasy, and the chips seemed to be from a bag. The pot pie was overly peppered and overwhelmed all other flavors. Overall, the food was just okay and nothing to get excited about.
