China Garden - Frederick

It was my first time back since the reopening, and I had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the owner was very friendly, offering us bottles of water while we waited. The food was fantastic! I would even say it’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in Frederick.

I have been waiting for them to open back up. Thank God they have. I have truly missed the very fresh sushi, tastey dishes and friendly service. It take out for now, can't wait for dine in.

The food was decent, but I really wish they had indicated what types of sushi were included in the chef's special. I understand that it's meant to be a surprise and varies by the chef's choice, but it would have been helpful to have a list of possible options. I'm not a fan of eel, squid, or red clam, and for $21, it was disappointing to have to discard half of my order.

Have been going to China garden for 15 years now. So disappointed with the food quality. My favorite has always been orange chicken, but it seems they've changed the recipe. I got take out and the sauce wasn't even sauce, there was about an inch of water at the bottom of the container. The fried rice was mushy. Even the fortune cookie was stale. For such a high price definitely not worth it. Such a shame, it used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant.

China Garden offers the best Chinese food within a 100-mile radius! I've always loved this place, and I can't wait to experience their newly remodeled restaurant. The owners are fantastic and always ensure you get great value for your money and then some. I'm thrilled they're back in business and I wish them all the best. I highly recommend them!
