My sizzling shrimp dish had 4 small/medium shrimp and some greasy onions. Too expensive for four minuscule shrimp. The grilled octopus was expensive and arrived COLD with ice cold hummus and cold tomatoes. We had the asparagus which was good for only 4 pieces. No bread to help fill us up. My wine arrived and for a $9 glass the pour was too small. The wine glass was huge and the pour was 1/10 of the glass. We had a $79 bill and left hungry. The place was busy but, the noise level made conversation hard. We won’t be back. The food was okay I just prefer leaving a restaurant feeling like I’ve gotten a good value and a full stomach. We went to Chick-Fil-A afterwards.
Nice beer selection with the brewery right next door. The seasonal sangria was delish. Nice selection of tapas. A bit pricey. Our serve started out great but that quickly changed. His attention to us diminished and we had to chase him down and remind him of our order. Despite the server, I would still recommend the establishment.
Plain and simple, the food at Isabella's is some of the very best I've experienced in Frederick! Will keep coming back.
Came for Sunday brunch with a party of 6. Everyone’s order was correct and all of the food was fine. Service, however, was sub-par. We had a reservation for 6, and were brought to a table with only 5 chairs. The waiter spilled water on the table and after asking twice we just got napkins ourselves from the bar. We had to ask multiple times for straws. One of our meals came out more than 5 minutes after the others, with no acknowledgement one entree was missing. And it took almost 20 minutes to pay. Be sure to bring your patience if you choose to dine here.
Delicious dinner at Isabella’s! The short rib sliders were our fav!!
