Airport Diner - Fredericksburg

Great breakfast place. Service was excellent. A little hidden but worth the experience.

What a cool find! Right at the airport, watch a variety of planes take off and land! Just next to the Hanger Hotel! I didn’t care for the meatloaf, but the grits and eggs were delicious!

Let us begin with this... I love history. As a veteran, I like learning about places, its history, and eating well too. This place is a classic diner with a twist. I ordered the Bomber burger, the kid wanted pancakes. We came here on a whim, seeing I wanted to eat. Being as we are not far from home, I was delighted to pop in here. I have seen and heard it mentioned, so why not. Our waitress, Kaylee, was on point and sweet as could be. Definitely worth a visit if you can.

Flew in with the family to check this place out for the first time. The vibe inside definitely aligns with 40s-50s vintage. We were greeted almost immediately by one of the waitresses and was instructed to have a seat anywhere we’d like. The waitress who helped us this visit, Tiffany, was phenomenal in terms of being very communicative, personable, and making sure we were always taken care of (or at least we knew what was going on if she had prior obligations to take care before being able to help us .The food is 4/5. I ordered the P40 and sadly it was just a typical store bought sausage. Being Fredricksburg, I was at least expecting a bratwurst with that hoagie roll it was served on. My SO’s meal was top notch according to her. The shakes…omg the shakes. 1000/10.10/10 Recommend Airport Diner. I love the whole package..from having a few of the ramp/runway so all the arriving and departing aircraft could be seen, to being so accessible if arriving by plane. (Aircraft parking was a breeze. We’ll be returning real soon.

The food delicious and the portions were very generous. The service was great. A nice diner style menu with shakes and sodas,sandwiches and burgers. They also serve breakfast!Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of people of all ages, seniors and young people.
