El Charro - Fredericksburg

Quick service. The taco salad was decent, but it seemed like it was lacking something. However, the chimichangas were very tasty!

I had the best chicken tortilla soup I've ever tasted. It was incredibly fresh and tasted homemade. The fajitas were fantastic as well. The salsa and chips were delicious. I was truly impressed with the quality of the food.

This charming little dive restaurant offers delicious fajitas and nachos! The waitstaff is friendly and quick to assist. However, the kitchen may be a bit slow on busy days. The booths are quite nice and comfortable!

Very impressive! Starting off, the salsa was very good, which is a good sign. I ordered the Pollo Loco (pictured) and it was worth every cent. The chicken breasts were cooked to perfection, with a great seasoning on them. It’s served with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and jalapeño. When combined in the corn tortillas, it’s exactly what I was needing. Staff was pleasant, and the price was reasonable. If I find myself in Fredericksburg again, El Charro will be on the short list of must eats.

Really good Mexican food and great dinner experience. The decor is amazing and the staff very nice. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.
