Wonderful place to stop abs have lunch, especially since my dentist is right around the corner! ? DELICIOUS bbq brisket, and I love that there is a smaller plate for seniors. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Y’all have to stop here, if you’re visiting Fredericksburg, Texas. It’s right on Main St, so what could be more convenient!??
If there were minus stars to give.... I would. My family and I visited this location and I've never been more disappointed and frankly disgusted in a long time.We ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with fries, and a pulled pork sandwich with green chili mac and cheese. The brisket was floating in grease when they scooped it onto the bun and had absolutely zero flavor. The pulled pork was literally rancid, and tasted like it had been smoked on wet cedar wood, besides being burnt. The condiment table was messy and dirty and half filled with dried onions and pickles. The unsweetened tea was old and bitter. As a member of Lone Star BBQ Society, I am sad that other patrons are served this type of thing, and ashamed that the owners claim this is Texas style BBQ.Absolutely sickened.
We were hungry and this was the first restaurant on Fredricksburg's main street. You have to pick your meal quickly as you approach the open plan kitchen. I tried the 1/2lb plate which has 2 meat &2 sides option. The turkey breast was really flavorful and tender. The brisket had a slight scented aftertaste, nevertheless it was also falling apart and juicy. I recommend the coleslaw, homemade fries and corn. The condiment bar is separately so you can complete your taco dish without rush. The bar is also secluded which makes it easier to come for drinks only. The place fills up fast and two restrooms are, in my opinion, not enough.Parking: If you don't find a spot on the main street, there are some spots behind the Nimitz Museum.
The best BBQ and Bartenders…Hilary,James and Daniel are the greatest atmosphere and drink makers ever so satisfied will definitely come back?Food: 5/5
