I have been here about 3-4 ties all together. Each time we sat at the bar instead of a table. We have never had to wait to be seated seat, the place was always about half full we went on a weekday evening so weekends could be busier)It’s a nice modern restaurant for a small town. Probably the nicest one they have. It’s a medium sized “narrow shaped” place in downtown fredricktown. It seats around 50-60 people maybe, it’s clean, modern, and dimly lit, but not dark. Nice clean private restrooms.Parking can be an issue if there’s a lot going on downtown either there at the restaurant or at other shops on the strip they only have parking in front of the building for the restaurant self. If it’s full you are going to have to park and walk a little ways. The staff is always friendly an accommodating. We have never had to wait long for our order to be taken, but given plenty of time to ensure we knew what we wanted and had enough time to look over the entire menu. The food has always been great. I have never had anything to ever complain about as far as the quality and taste of the food. However, some items are a bit overpriced I think. An example is their jalapeño popper appetizers, you get three for like $15. If you are dining with another person, you then have to play rock, paper, scissors for the third and final one! However… they are AMAZING!!!! Aside from a few things, there are other menu items reasonably and competitively priced to other similar restaurants. The bar is fully stocked and Normally their bartenders are knowledgeable, make good drinks and serve them reasonably fast. But……. there was an instance that I think one of them didn’t show up for their shift and they, out of desperation took the dishwasher boy and promoted him to bar tender because he didn’t have a clue what he was doing! AT ALL!!!! Made me the most god-awful Long Island iced tea I have ever had in my life, it tasted like a three year old just some weird stuff together and call it Long Island iced tea. He tried to fix it and it only got worse and those are not cheap either so I paid for a drink that couldn’t be stomached and so sat untouched.Overall, I’ve always had a good experience, I would definitely recommend it if you’d in the area of just looking for something different than what you have in yours. Just make sure the bartender isn’t a younge brown haired male and you won’t be disappointed ? Parking: Limited out front parking in a narrow building space leaves only about 6 places right in front. You will likely have to park a little ways away but it to far unless it’s very busy that day. Kid-friendliness: Menu has items that your average child will eat, Mac n cheese n thins like this. Seating with chairs so they can scoot up to the table n do on.
We went there tonight at 8:33 pm the very rood waitress informed us the kitchen was closed. We was disappointed but we had our first date there and was trying to recreate that, so we asked if we could sit at the bar, she said I guess, rolled her eyes at us took our drink order then cleaned the bar and ignored ups for 15 min until I asked if we could pay for our drinks and left. So disappointed we loved it on our first date. Both girls working were extremely rude!
Awesome little gem! We had the meatloaf it was delicious! Loved that they have Kentucky Bourbon Ale oil tap.
This was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. The food was great and service was good, nice place for dinner and drinks.
