Magna for traditional pizza. enters the beach street, often happy to get some free parking. they must note that several companies operate under the same dach, so if they participate in a group, they must visit the one facility as they do not eat or drink between the venues. are not a dick about it, they accept the fines are huge for non-compliance. remember that everyone has a job to do. I ordered a take aurelio today, it takes about 20 minutes, which gave me enough time to get down, round, along and back to the toilets. pizza natural, hot, tasty, taste some and full size, worth for $23.
Great event in the mantle. we made a walk on Friday night to eat some late dinner and set ourselves up immediately. buzzing atmosphere with many options for all types of pizzas. the food came in time. very tasty and perfect. good service, but they must order at the theke. $5 for byo and no they can not get drinks from other restaurants under the same dach!
Part of the mantle (radio storage with approx. 6 different bars/cafés we decided to start with pizza and were not disappointed. there is a great choice (two sides with some really interesting options (samtes ei and sparing everyone? . we went for spinat ricotta and parma ham and a vegetarian with walnuts in addition to the usual aubergine, capsicum etc. they arrived quite quickly and were delicious. I especially liked the roasted nuts on the veggie. the basic was thin with a rather significant crust that my ess mate did not like (I thought it added structural integrity and meant that they could pick up the discs without the check-up dropping! my only complain is that it is byo (which is great, but they can not buy wein at the bar in the coat and take it in magna, so we had to tell in the city on the look for an open bottle shop
What's Hot: Great venue, terrific atmosphere, amazing pizza. What's Not: Subpar service, waitstaff that are nazi's when it comes to people in your group bringing food from other vendors within The Mantle, being watched by the staff. I was excited to head to The Mantle. I had heard great things from fellow Yelpers. Four friends and I dropped in to grab a bite to eat before heading off to Escape Hunt. Parking was easy enough- there's a few free street parks right out from, otherwise it's ticketed parking down the street. The Mantle has a great atmosphere; not too loud, not too quiet. Two of my friends decided to order from Short Order Burger Co while the rest of us picked Magna. Ordering at the counter, the server waved me over but when I started my order she held her finger up in my face telling me to wait while she talked to her friend. When we all eventually got our orders through, we went to meet our friends at a table we found only to be told that those of us who hadn't ordered from Magna couldn't sit with those who did. And so, our group was divided. Two of us at the bar seating of Short Order Burger Co, three of us at the Magna tables. The food came out promptly along with plates for us to share. The pizza servings were generous and certainly not short on flavour. But when our friends who ordered from Short Order Burger Co brought a serving of their fries over to our table, the staff at Magna swiftly made their way over and told us we weren't allowed to eat the fries at the table. From that point until the end of our meal, the waitstaff at Magna watched us through the spaces between the pizza boxes that lined their kitchen bench. It was an uncomfortable experience and made us all feel more like suspects of a crime rather than customers. While the pizzas were terrific, being watched wasn't. My friend was so uncomfortable with being watched they decided to leave a note to the staff with our plates that said we weren't happy with the way they treated us. So if being watched as though you've committed a crime and having your group forcefully separated to sit in two different areas is your kind of Saturday night, head on down. Or maybe just get takeout.
