I am not sure what happened. The food quality has degraded so much that I figured that the current chief must be amateur. The meat is very salty and heavily mixed with ginger chops. I feel they want to cover some bad smells using this strategy. As a Chinese person, I can cook better than them. I think the restaurant will be closed soon. Let's see.
Not a place for Vegetarians. Good place to hang out with friends who like Chinese
A new, trendy, authentic chinese restaurant in that's tucked away in a little plaza in Fremont! It seems like only locals know about this spot because it's so hidden but it was incredibly busy on a Saturday night. Each dish was a heaping portion of oily, spicy goodness and cooked to perfection. This is what our table ordered. braised pork belly (fatty, tender, and delicious with the buns) fried lotus root with beef (crunchy and spicy) napa cabbage (cooked very well! had the ma la spice) mochi sesame dessert (so chewy and nutty)I did take off one star because it was a bit too greasy for my liking and the price point is a bit expensive especially for chinese food. Still a great place and has a young, vibrant ambiance to it!
The pork feet is so good, that after our meal, when we talk in the park, the stray cat keeps following us for an hour.I recommend the cabbage 手撕包菜)And pork feet(梅菜豬腳 )Best in Fremont.
