However, the service at the counter was polite and efficient (although when I asked if I could possibly have my meal dairy free, the response was 'what do you mean by dairy free?'!!!). I ordered the protein-style burger, a beef patty in a lettuce bun with tomato sauce and mustard plus a few vegetables. My partner had a cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries. I can't speak for him (although he did comment that the burger was 'deliciously greasy and oily'), but my lettuce burger was excellent - the lettuce leaves actually held the meat together and I was able to eat it as a proper burger. The toppings were generous and the flavour of the patty with the sauces was great. The chips were a bit disappointing as they were not crinkle cut, rather the kind that you get out of frozen food bags and deep-fry. However, as take-out goes, the burgers are very cheap (starting at 7.90) and service is efficient. It's also available on Uber Eats, if that takes your fancy. Not a bad place if you're looking for a grease fix, but would give it a miss if you're looking for that fresh burger flavour.
I have eaten here about 3 times, just out of sheer convenience and using the novelty of Uber Eats. The food is very average. It's perfect for hangovers, but not quite fine dining.
Tried nordburger for the first time today and was bitterly disappointed! The chocolate shake was bitter and tasted more like coffee than chocolate. The cheese burger was 'ok' but absolutely nothing special. The chicken burger was not enjoyable. The buns they used were like those cheap hamburger buns that have so many preservatives in them, that they keep forever. The potato tots were the only good thing, but they had put them in the bag far too early and waited for our burgers so they were cold and a little soggy. Not worth the money and will never eat again
I hadn't visited NordBurger in a while but i had noticed a slight change in burger quality. The burgers do taste a bit greasier, than they used to. its still delicious nontheless, but it just seems to have more weightage as a guilty food. Another thing i noticed was the climb is customer service. A few months ago, the staff would just take and give you your order. End of story. In my last visit, smiles were more common and the staff were extremely friendly and struck conversations with customers, eventhough it being a busy day for them. The cashier even gave me a fistbump and thats a plus in my book. Shoutout to my man Rock for doing an awesome job entertaining customers!!
Has been excellent before, really good burgers, service etc. Then it started to slide a bit. Still not too bad but less inclined to go back for a return visit over time. Thought it might be worth another shot and just popped in for a quick bite but service, previously good, then less so, now was pretty ordinary. The staff don't seem to have any urgency, are more interested in talking to their mates and seem to think that now the place is established they don't have to try that much. Chips ordered came out way too quick to have been anything other than cooked earlier and they were stale, stodgy and cold. Drinks order was incorrect. Could not be bothered to raise an issue. Won't be going back. Plenty of competition and the trend for this joint is clear.
