Contribuisci feedbackWhat a surprise! Wonderful and great place, I travelled for a few hours in a journey of discovery of taste and flavors, I would like to say thank you to the wonderful, detailed and discreet staff and the chef for this wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back to Fribourg and live a moment my journey to discover new flavors offered by this establishment bravo
Superb restaurant with an amazing kitchen. We had a 4 course menu at a company dinner and every single dish was outstanding. The staff was nice and helpful throughout the entire dinner.
Good food, great fish, perfect service, correct prices. The new management apparently keeps the tradition of beeing one of the rare restaurants in town with excellent fish meals. The premises are adapted to coronarisks, as the cielings are high. Very original, the upside-down X-Mas tree. One critic: the pistache-sweet is tasteless.
Amazing food and atmosphere... the waiter was really helpful and kind, he made a great contribution to making this evening so special!!
After long years of absence, we decided to give "Le Beausite a try, as the owner and Chef have changed. We were greeted very kindly and seated at a lounge like area, near our dining table, to relax and enjoy our Cocktails. Very classy. The interior is very pleasant, nice decorations outline the ceiling from which descend two big chandeliers and there are some beautiful green plants on the floor. As venison 's season opened at the end of September, we ordered the Selle de Chevreuil (Roe deer Saddle) looking forward for a delicious meal. The order came with perfect timing. The Selle looked delicious and indeed it was cooked to perfection, medium/rare as venison should be. The portions weren 't excessive, just right.A special thank you to the Bartender who offered to change the wine I ordered that was not to our liking, for another wine. At no charge. That denotes a real will to please the customer and make him feel at home. But the praises stop here. The venison was plainly served with Spaetzli, a couple of mushrooms and one chestnut over a bed of Celery root Mousseline. The Mousseline would be a wonderful accompaniment to a Roast Pork dish or grilled sausage, but it has too strong a taste opposed to the delicate one of the Saddle. It did overpower it.Furthermore, the traditional side dishes, i.e. red cabbage, Botzi pear, typical of the region, or caramelized pear, Brussel sprouts and some grapes or fig were all forgotten.Big deception. In conclusion, as we found the food price/quality ratio quite unfavourable, we will not pay a second visit to the Beausite. The service is top grade, but the main reason to go to a Restaurant is the food. And the food was a deception. Sorry.
