I went here on Monday and bought fish chips x 2 the fish was terrible batter soggy and fish bitty and price was expensive we go here regular but not any more only thing l can say is chips were nice. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

As far as chip shops go, it was decent. The chips were tasty, although they tended to stick to the inner wrapping more than I've experienced at other places. I'm not sure if they're using a different type of wrapping, but that's just an observation. The staff were friendly and cheerful, which was pleasant. Unfortunately, they didn't offer a children's meal, which surprised me since most places usually have them these days.

I had a great experience with the fish and chips here. The staff was friendly, and it’s just a short walk back to the beach, which is a plus. The prices are reasonable as well. There's street parking available, making it a convenient spot for a quick bite. The chips weren't as greasy as you find at most chip shops, which was another bonus. I will definitely be back!

I was really impressed by the cod and chips. We traveled from Rayleigh to Frinton, and it was our first time at Young's, but it definitely won't be our last. The cod we had was fantastic, and the chips were equally good. The only downside was the lack of seating, which was a bit disappointing. However, I would still recommend this place to anyone.
