One is the menu hack called Shirley Goo. It's, rice, queso and fajita chicken. I scoop it up, put in a tortilla, layer a little Hatch sauce on it and go to town. SOOOO good.Kid-friendliness: Great options and smaller portion sizes for the kiddos.
First about our server, Katie. I asked her what was in the boom boom sauce and she said it was vegetarian. I asked how she knew I was a vegetarian and she responded if you are asking what it's made of, there's a good chance you are vegetarian. A tell I wasn't aware of.The nachos are thin, crispy, not oily, and constantly refilled. They are flavorful and provided with, at your request, multiple sauces besides salsa. My cocktail, Paloma, was good.We got Boom Boom enchiladas (chicken and vegetarian. It was rich in flavors and amazingly delicious. My friend ordered fajita and it was brought sizzling to the table. The sides and tortillas were brought first. He's a regular and swears by the food. I was a first timer and was discouraged by the reviews but was happy that I had relented and come to Chuy's. Highly recommend the food here.
How can a plate of food look so beautiful, colorful, delicious and be so lacking in taste? The restaurant is bright and cheerful, service is adequate (not overly friendly, but does the job). The food, though...not bad, not anything.
Bring a picture of your dog… seriously and you’ll get a free appetizer!!! Don’t forget to get the white sauce when they bring out the chips. Also the hatch is amazing AND it’s free!!! The Elvis is by far the best deal. Great for kiddos too and they get FREE treat at the end.
Chuy's never disappoints. This is one of the newer locations, and we enjoyed our food just like we do in Plano. Service was fast, and the waitress was very pleasant.
