Our experience in aconchego was great! from the suppe to the steak and the sunset view to dessert was all top-notch. I enjoyed the (very big) tomaten, wobble and egg soup as an appetizer. I expected more of a pure tomaten soup, but it had actually tasted more of a French twill soup, with a few nots of tomaten. it was herbaceous and delicious! for a deer I had the golden flower fillet with mushroom and saffron risotto. the crispy skin on the plentiful fish part was a highlight of a very tasteful dish. a lemon really pressed the aromen pop. my man ordered the filet on a hot stone and enjoyed every perfectly supposed bite! the caipirinha, house rose and house red wine were all tasty foods to our meal. for dessert he ordered the house dessert (a caramel brownie with egg,) and I had the petit gateau (a chocolate lava cake) with ice. I loved the torau it was perfect gooey and deep chocolate. we had a nice evening and will probably be back for another meal before we go! we stayed in the quarter lido and enjoyed a very cozy walk through the quarter saõ martinho (with a stop for a snack and a drink) along the way. we drove the route 1 bus back to our hotel as there was a stop right on the road from the restaurant. if they are on the cheerful to go over, I recommend this to them! it is an excellent meal with good portions for the price, and the sunset views are hard to beat.
We came here to the birthday and it was amazing. we have a super beautiful table, eating and service are great and they have even sung the birthday for us. great evening!
Incredibly delicious. I don't eat much meat nowadays, but I'm so glad I ordered the steak. so funny that it boiled before you, and it was the best steak I can remember ever. the fish catchers were also incredible. what a precious stone this place is.
The Aconchego restaurant was just up the hill from my hotel and I had dinner there three times during my stay, all of the meals were lovely and the staff are so friendly. I had the shrimp risotto, the bream fillet which came with a lovely risotto and on the last night the octopus which was amazing, so tender. If you are close by while on your holiday I definitely recommend a visit. Or even if you are not close then the number 1 bus stops right outside!!!
