Bernini - Funchal

Nice little restaurant with excellent food for a good price. Friendly service but, very skow service. It was a sunday so might explain why. But it took over 1,5 hours to get starter and main course. Several couples got tired of waiting and left in the middle. One even without paying fir rheir wine and drink! But food was great and well worth a visit!

Underwhelming lacking basics. No side garnish- lack of dinner small separate rolls of chicken cannelloni on a plate. Limited sauce- nothing else! No sides were suggested or offered. Alternatively my husbands Lasagne la ked any bechamel sauce. Overall I expected better!

The whole dining experience was a delight. The staff are all very friendly. The food is delicious, so good we returned the following evening. Would highly recommend this delightful little restaurant to everyone.

WORMS IN THE FOOD! I got the vegetarian Ravioli, they were lukewarm and dried at the edges, after finishing my plate I noticed a worm in the remaining sauce. Fair to say I was disgusted. Even tho I usually never complain, I had to tell the waiter, who without a word took my plate to the kitchen, only to come back and offer me a free desert no thank you . We had to pay for the entire meal and left. I threw up an hour later. Never !! again.

We dined on this place twice. I definitely recommend the pasta and the desserts. My wife and I ordered different dishes and both were delicious. We went back for the pizza, which I would not recommend, as we had much better pizza elsewhere. The staff were very nice and friendly.
