Ed's Paixao Pela Comida - Funchal

We had a 2nd meal at Ed’s having had a very nice experience the first time round and this visit matched that. The burgers were exquisite and the meat so good and the price extremely reasonable. It is not positioned in the main tourist drag being behind the Forum Shopping Centre and that does reflect in the numbers of people eating there however it is well worth a visit. If it was situated in downtown Funchal or on Estrada Monumental this place would do very well indeed. Highly recommend that people go out of their way to find .

Stumbled across Ed's while we were waiting to go to the cinema we just ordered a beer, but having checked the menu we decided to visit another time. We actually went twice during our stay as it was really tasty and very good quality. We had the burgers both times as they were so good, but when we visit next time we'll try one of the other dishes on the menu. Friendly informative staff. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend

Found this gem of a place last night, the chicken wings out of this world with a lovely bbq sauce my mum and I had chicken breast smothered in bbq sauce which was amazing my sister had a crispy chicken breast with the bbq sauce the service was excellent and as we left i guess it was the manager who asked if we enjoyed which we did will definitely be back great place great meal great service

Good atmosphere, nice beer bucket deals, staff is very nice and speaks good English! The bbq ribs are delicious.

We come here for us first restaurant in madeira. This restaurant is so fun we have like drink and eat but we have not finish us burger because it's so lot. The personnal is verry good and fun. Thanks for this first night
