Mediterraneo Pestana Miramar - Funchal

This is the a la carte restaurant in the Pestana Miramar hotel, where we stayed. The deal of 3 meals for 99 euros (drinks excluded) is recommended. Very good menu, good service without any long delays between courses, and food of high quality. Interesting interior, set out as a series of themed interconnecting rooms. We have been here over the years of our visits to Madeira, and have never been disappointed

Came from Pestana Grand as it allowed us to book this restaurant on our half board package. So glad we did highlight of the trip fir food quality from Pestana. Food was top class, service staff really friendly and unlike Pestana Grand have no hang up in offering you tap water

I never take pictures of food but this place is undiscovered. It's probably a AA rosette equivalent for good, beautifully presented, generous portions with feeling too full. Lovely staff, charming surroundings. If you're staying at pestana it's a must as it's included in the half board. A must and even paying, worth every penny!
