Contribuisci feedbackAte here thrice, during a week-long stay at a nearby hotel. Had the mushroom risotto, the Primavera risotto (listed as Chef 's choice on the menu, as a Vegetarian option), and the steak. All were wonderful, but out of the three I would recommend the mushroom risotto.
Het is echt een prima restaurant, maar ik vind het niet de 4,8 waard die het nu heeft want het heeft ons niet omver geblazen zoals andere mensen hier wel omschrijven. Het eten was lekker maar niet bijzonder qua smaak. Het is nogmaals gewoon een prima restaurant. Ze hebben wel veel keuze qua wijn en we kregen een heel goede fles aangeraden van de bediening.
Great restaurant and worthy of a trip. Local Madeira cuisine full of taste and very well executed. Felt welcomed and looked after by staff who directed us to some really tasty shrimp in local sauce. The scabbard fish with almond batter was fantastic. The portions are very generous, perhaps a little too much given we struggled to finish our plate. Flavours are pushed hard and the wine options go well with them, In fact you can buy a bottle to take away, a great set of Portuguese wines to choose from. It's friendly, tasty and welcoming, it's worth your time.

We booked this through 'the fork ' for 30% off our food. The wine selection looked amazing but we did not indulge in that as we went for lunch so had a couple of local beers. I 'm sorry to say that everything was overcooked. The tuna was awful and the piri piri chicken dry and mediocre. The mussels for starter was very tasty but again, unfortunately well overdone
