Rocket Cafe - Gallup

We were here a few days. outside it is hard to say that there is a bar/lounge inside. we had an explosion. the natives we kindly, the bar staff was fantastic. I can only assume that the man behind the bar was the owner. he came several times to check if we needed fresh drinks, he was human and funny. the food was in order, it is a bar not a beautiful escap. when we come back to gallup, rockets will be a stop we make. thanks for the great experience.

The lounge is nice, and a very hospitable environment. However the restaurant is alright, some food is good but do not get the lasagna! They served me a flat lasagna piece, the pasta was hard the sauce on top was bland and the whole dish just was not lasagna. I received what was equivalent of a pasta pancake covered in tomato sauce.

Was expecting meat to be warm, and at least extra salsa if no choice of dressing is given.

This was the worst ever. Food cold. The waitress needs to find a different job because she was horrible. I have always tip well even to bad for services but not this time.. I can not even put in word how bad it was.

Service was great. The staff members were very friendly. I can't say much for the food though. I had dinner there last Thursday July 22nd before going to the movies. Anywho I had the spaghetti it wasn't that great. It was bland and it didn't have zing in flavors. The pasta seemed like it was overcooked too soft. The pasta was not al dente. My date had the rocket burger he also didn't like his meal either. He said there was too much toppings for a small burger. Oh yes! we also ordered salsa and chips. The chips were okay. The salsa was too salty and not spicy enough. The Rocket Cafe is losing its touch. The food use to be great and it would hit the spot satisfing your stomach. I don't think I'll ever go back there again.
