Tīng Wū Cafe Noconoco - 高取町

The vegetable miso soup, round croquette with curry cheese, and grilled vegetables and chicken with mustard sauce were delicious. The warm and comforting dishes made for a happy and content dining experience. The manager was attentive and kind, which made me want to come back again.

I visited the popular tourist spot, Takatori Castle ruins in Takatoricho, Takayama-gun, Nara Prefecture, to conquer the delicious strawberry parfait at "Machiya Cafe noco noco" located along the Tosa Highway. Takatori town has a castle town under Japan's highest mountain castle "Takatori Castle," and you can enjoy the unique streets formed by a single road. For those who want to enjoy both meals and sightseeing, there is Takatori Town No. 1 Tourist Parking Lot a 2.3-minute walk from the shop, so please park there and enjoy Takatori Town at your leisure (*parking fee free). Near the shop, there is also a "Medicine History Museum," and the Dragon Quest Walk flag was flying. The shop seems to have been renovated from a pre-war rice warehouse, and you can enjoy your meal in a very calm space with high ceilings. This time, I chose the "Special Asuka Ruby Parfait" which requires a reservation, and my eyes turned into hearts at the luxurious parfait with 15 strawberries. The strawberry ice cream with the delicious almond tofu on the bottom was so good that I finished it in an instant! The Asuka Ruby strawberries were so sweet and irresistible. There are also terrace seats, so customers with pets are also welcome, and starting from March, the "Hina Doll Tour of Machiya" will also begin.

On Saturday afternoon, my family of four went to this restaurant. Due to the rain, there were no other customers, so we were able to relax. The restaurant was quite spacious with cool ceiling beams, creating a lovely atmosphere. My parents recommended the shaved ice, so we tried the "Asuka Ruby Hana" shaved ice with peach shaved ice. They also had Uji Kin-to and original cola shaved ice. The shaved ice was 500 yen. Payment could be made with PayPay. The peach and strawberry flavors were delicious and had a strong fruit taste. The fruit sauce had a fizzy sensation, maybe there was carbonation in it? As we ate, we found almond jelly inside which was a nice surprise. The shaved ice was enjoyable till the end and very delicious.

駐車場は東隣にあります。また街並みを観光するのなら100メートルほど東側に観光駐車場 無料 があります。なお、前の道は東行きの一方通行です。 素敵なお店です。座席の間隔もゆったりしていてとってもくつろげます。あとテラス席もありました。ランチは11時～です。 のこのこランチととんかつランチ、そしてデザートにミニ苺 かき氷 と季節のパフェをいただきました。どれも美味しいかったです。デザートも丁度良い大きさでした。
