Azuma Japanese - Gardena

This restaurant is all about simple, comforting food in a cozy atmosphere. I've lost count of how many times I've visited, but my order is usually the same: the combo plate with tonkatsu and broiled mackerel, accompanied by a bowl of rice and miso soup—enough to fill me up for two meals. I really hope this hidden gem sticks around! The service can be a bit slow at times, and there are often lines, but it never bothers me. I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. The mexican dude at the back can stir fry something fierce, great skills. Try the daily special you'll be surprised how good it is. Today's special was salmon belly and pork and beansprout stir fry and they were exquisite

The restaurant tends to get quite busy, so be prepared to wait a little. It's a cozy space, and the fried onions are incredible—their aroma and texture are simply outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend that you come back again!

Food portion was large and very good for the price. Service was good as it was busy during lunch time.
