Shin-sen-gumi Shabu-shabu

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. The staff is quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We always order our favorite sukiyaki and miso broths, and the combination of meats and vegetables that accompany them is simply delicious.

A very solid choice for a fun dinner with a few friends. Been there several times and the food, service, and experience are consistently good. Just by nature of the meal format, it's always a little hectic and crazy but in a good way. The meat and vegetable options are a good variety and can make for a really healthy meal if you want. Or, not so much. If I had one reservation, it would be the room layout and seating. I get it, It really maximizes the space they have, but you can feel like you need a shoehorn to get in and out of some of the seats, especially if you are next to the windows.. Overall, it's a really good place and I will be back again.

The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat shabu shabu experience. There are many high counter seats and chairs available, along with a wide variety of drink options and a selection of desserts.

The establishment is small, so making a reservation is recommended. The service was efficient, and our food arrived promptly after we ordered. However, our table for eight only had two split pots, which meant that the additional two individuals had to share. It would be beneficial to have an extra pot in the middle for better accommodating larger groups.

Absolutely the best deal in all of LA!! And if you're over 65 playing footsies with the grim reaper, you get an extra discount!! Plus ice cold Sapporo draft right out of the tap by cutie Daphne and life can't get any better even though the two minute warning just sounded!!!
