I had the worst omelet I've ever experienced! It was cold and greasy...

I hosted my party at Hamdogs on November 20, 2009, and it was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant staff did an incredible job decorating the tables and taking care of my 55 guests. I've never seen the chefs smoking in the kitchen, so I can't speak to that. The place itself may not be beautiful, but it doesn't need to be. My friends and I visit every month and always have a great time. I’m even hosting a dinner party for 50-60 people there in November! (I plan to bring my own wine; what they offer is fine, but I'm looking forward to introducing my friends to Hamdog's food. It's not an everyday spot, but it’s definitely a treat. I used to really like Hamdogs. I admit it's kinda gross to think the cooks are smoking while preparing your food, but it never seemed to hurt me. It's a bar and grill with tasty food, decent portions and great prices. Overall it's about what you would expect. What killed it for me is when they went to the BBQ menu in the evenings. The prices are crazy! I was willing to put up with the smoke, dirty bathrooms and sticky tables when 10 bucks got me a beer and dinner, but now the evening menu has entrees approaching 30 bucks. Sorry guys, Hamdogs used to be a favorite of mine, but since I always went in the evenings your off my list for good.
