The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is exceptional! It truly has that charming small-town feeling, and we felt like family right away! The food was incredible as well! The shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and seafood eggs Benedict were all delicious! And let's not forget about the beignets!

Joined friends here for breakfast and really enjoyed it tremendously. Service was awesome, food great, and the atmosphere cozy for sure. I had the Seafood Benedict (made with lots of lobster meat) that was delicious with a side of Bacon Ranch Grits that were a bit dry, but very tasty. All four of us really enjoyed the food and the warm (and somewhat tight) surroundings. I understand this place is quite popular, so plan on a wait in the busy times. Worth it, though!

Do not be fooled by the shim sham looking outside of the restaurant; you are about to be in for a treat. We just left after having a phenomenal lunch! They have about 20 different varieties of lobster rolls, so the toughest part of lunch is making a decision. I went with the Boston Terrier roll, but my brother and sister got the Italian and some german sounding variety. Each one was delicious. I got my son the chicken tenders from the kids menu, and it was a delightful surprise. These are not your average chicken tenders!

Captain's House is a true local treasure! The atmosphere is serene and welcoming. The service is consistently excellent—attentive to your needs without being intrusive. Most importantly, the food...oh, the food at Captain's House is indescribable! Whether you visit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, your taste buds are guaranteed to be pleased. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

What a pleasant surprise! We were drawn in by the charming decor of this unique little restaurant, but we were blown away by the incredible food! It's truly a hidden gem. Be sure to stop by if you're in the area!
