J's Breakfast Club - Gary

I was really excited to try this restaurant. I walked in with my family and was promptly seated. The waitress didn’t seem interested in serving us at all. She walked around and checked in with everyone except us. I even asked if she was our server. She said she would come back and never did. By this time we had been sitting there for approximately 15-20 minutes. Really disappointing.

I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was not good! They used cooked shrimp instead of fresh shrimp and on top of that, my toast was overly toasted on one side and the other was not so trying to bite into it was tough

Arrived today: 04/25/24. A party of 6 to celebrate the 63rd birthday of one of our past Co-Workers Renae . The atmosphere was quite charming ? The meal was pleasing and the portions were up to par ? Our Waitress Keshia was very lovely, patient, and professional Me and the Ladies are waiting on a nice warm day; To enjoy a meal outside on the Patio ? Thank You all so kindly! ?

Very nice blacked opened establishment host was sweet and server was kool my food was ok I like my breast fried a lil harder but it was juicy I asked for cheddar cheese in my eggs it taste like American and my waffle was hard and didn’t receive butter on it but the chicken was good and I like the homemade friesParking limited but it’s a lot nearby

Great food selections. The shrimp and grits eas fantastic, with lors of Shrimp.The music was classis R&B. I recommend this restaurant. James Fair.
