Dairy Queen (treat) - Hammond

The only drawbacks of this place are that they do not accept DQ rewards from the app, they are only open seasonally, and they have a limited menu with no chicken baskets.

This is one of the top Dairy Queen locations still in operation. The only issue is that there is usually only one woman working, who is responsible for taking and preparing all the orders by herself. I really dislike how management seems to overwork and exploit their employees in this way. There should be at least two more employees at the Dairy Queen.

My husband went to grab me a brownie earthquake (he had said brownie earthquake blizzard by accident) and instead of the workers correcting him and suggesting the original brownie earthquake, all they told him was that they did not have it. So they gave him the batter brownie blizzard instead. There was maybe pieces of brownie in the large size blizzard....that is TERRIBLE. I know people are understaffed right now but the place was not super busy at the time of my husband coming through and they could have easily suggested the regular brownie earthquake that my husband had tried asking for, instead of giving him a large blizzard with VERY little brownie pieces in it. I’ve worked fast food all throughout high school/college and that type of service is inexcusable. You’re on the clock and being paid for your time so do the job right. Pure laziness.

If it didn't effect my waist-line I would buy more... Lol

Just like old times giving The Banana Splits remind me of good old times
