Mcdonald's Restaurants - Gateshead

BAD. The food tasted like ****. The drinks were flat and there was food and drink smeared alllllllll over the tables and floors. My 6 year old girl slipped on some mooshed up chips and hit her head on the floor. None of the staff could have cared less about my daughters injury of frankly about their jobs. They were sooooo rude and one sweared at my 2 YEAR OLD because she wanted chicken nuggets and they sceamed and said she had to order a f*cking burger you idiot . She was DEVISTATED. I can 't belive how vile this place was. I ordered a rather large amount of food as I had guests at home and the staff who served us fat shamed me and told me I didn 't need that much food and called my a fattie. The smell was awful and there was mold all over the walls. After the women verbally abused my todler I asked a different member of staff for the manager and he laughed at me and refused and called me a Karen. Absolutely disgraceful. Never again will I visit this hole.

Today whilst out shopping at IKEA my partner and I decided to take a quick detour and nip into this McDonalds (this being our very first visit to this particular store). After placing our order on the self service point as there were no table numbers to enable table service we had no option but to choose to pick up from the counter. This is when the red flags started appearing. Firstly we noticed that the young blonde girl who was serving at the counter appeared totally dishevelled,(her greyish blouse was dirty and non ironed) and was wearing a pair of so-called white trainers with laces that were loose and trailing along the floor and which were absolutely fully covered in all i can describe as mud!!!. The staff behind her who were actually processing the order did not appear to have had any Health Hygiene training whatsoever and none of them were using disposable gloves when handling food and at one point one young lass actually started rubbing her nose then continued handling food. When we finally received our meal we sat at the corner table which is the the left of the building looking out from the counter (next to the kiddies tablets) the chairs were ripped which again questioned how hygienic these were as surely germs could seep into the worn faux leather, the so called white kiddies tablets were filthy black and definately a huge cross contamination risk for little fingers. The final straw came when half way through our meal my partner screamed and ran out of the store mid meal as a spider had dropped down from the filthy lampshade above our table (her having a huge fear of spiders). I obviously went to check if she was okay and decided to leave my meal too and drove off in disgust. I fully recommend that the whole place receives a deep clean and staff be given some form of health hygiene retraining

Toilet was disgusting wouldn’t even let a dog wee in their also got food no burger just the and the customer service talking among them self’s like it’s the customers fault sorry but no can’t even make a burger or clean toilets

I have spent loads of money here and stuck up for this place against many friends who say the food is rubbish but imagine my surprise when I am rewarded with not a toy or book but a company that can not follow others and stop trading in Russia..shall not return until lives are more important than happy meals profits

I am sitting in my car watching one after another delivery driver in and out. My 16 year old daughter has now been in there for 35 minutewsiying For take away terrible service.
