Tgi Fridays - Gateshead

Staying next door, so immersed for our tee, the lady who served us was so friendly, made our visit perfect. it is what we call salt of the earth in liverpool, a good. the food was served efficiently. would. definitiw return when they visit again.

Accross the car park from our hotel, tables were well spaced apart. Waitress was very friendly and helpful, food was hot and tasty. Ideal.

I took my family to tgi fridays as a special day out for my kids, we ordered adult meals and children meals with drinks and children's deserts, total nearly The food was nice but come on we all were still...hungry afterwards. The portion size was dismal. At for each adult meal you expect to receive a meal thats worth each . I ordered the steak sandwich I received a very small sized steak that was in a small bun with what must of been half a potato of frys. I wont be going back to TGI Fridays I could of got alot better at other restaurants My partners meal was even worse ordered a chicken strip meal with just strips of chicken and yet again small portion of frys TGI fridays is just not worth the money at all If anyone at TGI fridays is reading this just so you know my kids got a MacDonald's straight after we left because they were still hungry. The only thing that was good about the visit was the staff which my partner gave a good tip too for the excellent service he provided but it was only for the service and not the food. We wont be going back and next time it will be a different place with better portions. I can think of many in the metro centre that has much better prices with bigger portion sizes and to be honest better food.

We have been a few times and to be honest never thought to do a response however both Tammy aone one visit and Daniel E today have been amazing and very family friendly. They've been very attentive and ensured out children were not bored, and...kept amused (especailly when were not parents who give our children tec to keep them quiet). Despite the mess and sometimes noise they put us at ease and made an effort with our children, which really made us feel less of a nuisance. We gave them a tip as last time we had no cash, and despite not making it a big fuss they came over to show their appreciation. Its not easy working in hospitality especially during these difficult times but they're are incredible servers who totally deserve the recognistion. We again will be returning. Most if the staff here have been amazing but these two have blown it out of the park!! Thanks again, for two very tired parents.
