The Head Of Steam - Gateshead

This is a great bar with an excellent selection of high-quality beers and a fantastic American-style menu. I tried the dirty fries, which were quite enjoyable. A helpful tip for lunchtime: their fire specials come with a reasonably priced pint, so it's definitely worth asking about that before ordering a drink. The steak sandwich, served with skin-on fries, was also impressive. It may be a bit off the beaten path, but it's well worth the visit.

The restaurant features an expansive layout with a fantastic atmosphere, highlighting a clear railway theme. They offer an impressive selection of beers and camping-themed items. The dining experience is truly delightful.

This is always our favorite spot for dining and drinks. The bar staff is amazing, and the place is very dog-friendly. We even enjoy the music they play here. It was so great that we celebrated my son’s 18th birthday in a private seating area. Simply fabulous!

Nice pub and lots of space. eating is good when I had it before, but I notice that they were slow in the kitchen and it was closed for eating the last day when we arrived for a drink. Hopefully this problem is solved with the kitchens, as it is a rabbit pub with large vegan options for eating.

Nice drinks (quite strong as well), the food is not bad but not a 5/5, but overall a nice variety and quite large portions. Some really nice tunes were on when we were there.
