Zizzi - Gateshead

Visited here with my family and I saw they had a “vegan menu” but when I asked the waitress she said there wasn’t one... when there was a sign saying there was. Eventually I got it and ordered the mozerisella pizza and it was delicious! Staff were so unhelpful but would go and order pizza again.

Very enjoyed the rustic jackfruit pizza and pesto risotto that we shared during our visit. the pizza was delicious with a beautiful chili-kick and the jackfruit tasted like pfefferoni. while the basic was thin, it was perfect for lunch and did not leave this flourishing heavy feeling. the pesto risotto was fresh, tasteful and earthy and perfectly cooked. to finish, we shared a Zillionaire disc, which was ingenious, had a strange textured basis on which none of us was too sharp. I loved the honeycombs. I found this industry to be much more relaxed with very friendly, attentive staff, for a very pleasant experience and we even got a free Pasta Wars starter. the vegan pizza options could be further expanded, but I can't do with what we ordered, and we would definitely return if in the opposite.

Zizzi has an excellent vegan menu. they offer an option for each and they have a very creamy mozzarissella they also have a gluten-free menu. the food is delicious and they can really say the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. the service is not always the best, especially if the restaurant is more business.

Eating was amazing. I had the vegan margaretta, my partner had the rustic zucca. the personal was really friendly, but they seemed to take their time to serve people when it was not a busy afternoon.
