George's - Georgetown

While on a trip to charleston from myrtle beach, my wife and I wanted to stop somewhere on the way to breakfast. we've got it. I'm just looking for places along our road. we have decided to make georges an attempt. very much a local family-running diner feel. our waiter was great! eating was fast, very good and cost-effective. it was great to hear and see how well the staff knew many of the other local diners.

This restaurant is a great place to eat in its family and they are really great people. they have fish on Friday if they like it. land cooking so they try it for themselves.

Took a very long time (30 min) to get the incorrect order! Ordered chicken stir fry and when I finally got it, there were about six small pieces of chicken on a lot of rice--no veggies!! Price was $10.95. Hubby and I split a Reuben, which was sub par. Service was painfully slow! At least the waitress was good enough to try to pay for our sandwich but we refused her offer since most of the fault was in the kitchen. Will never set foot in George's again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Over all good food great waitresses treat you like family.

Maybe it was because I went late in the morning so the food selection was limited.. But besides that it was OK
