Exit 156 Port Severn - Georgian Bay

This restaurant was unexpectedly fantastic! If you are in the area, you must stop by. The service was prompt, the recommendations were great, and the curry was incredibly delicious. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

We stopped for dinner on our way home from Killarney. The exterior of the building does not inspire confidence. The saying, You cannot judge a book by its cover could not be more true in the case of this restaurant. My sister and I both ordered burgers and they were absolutely delicious! The buns were fresh and the burger tasted house-made (not sure if they were, but they had that quality and flavour). The fries were good quality given they were frozen, and the gravy was robustly flavourful. The service was fantastic. Our server was the only one in the restaurant, which filled up by the time we were leaving. Despite how busy she was, her demeanour was always pleasant and inviting. I am glad we stopped here; it 's good to have a few dining options along the way when travelling north or back home again. I would definitely eat here again.

We weren't there in a while and they ran the restaurant. The food is still amazing and the service was excellent. It was busy and just a server, but she made it look like us where the only ones there. Very recommended to go there.

My family and I stayed here on the way north. We enjoyed our meal, but the tartaric acid sauce, vinegar and lemon were missing with my fish chips. I was back and got packages. Was really hoped for proper tartaric acid sauce (packet fabric is not good at all) and malt vinegar. Fish was frozen. The pommes were crispy, but they could use some extra salt.

Our first visit to this restaurant was not a good experience. I ordered butter chicken but was served a very salty tandoori chicken with rice instead. I informed the waitress of the issue and requested a replacement meal as I couldn't eat something so salty. The replacement meal was chicken wings and fries, but I had to wait for it and ended up eating alone as the rest of my group had already finished their meals. To make matters worse, I was charged the price of the butter chicken plate instead of the chicken wings and fries. The other three orders were for a Buffalo chicken dish, but the chicken was processed meat and not at all like traditional buffalo chicken. Overall, no one in our group enjoyed their meal. We also suggest that the restaurant have an additional waitress on duty on Monday evenings to reduce long waiting times for guests.
