We sat outside in the beer garden to enjoy the perfect weather and the nice view onto the surrounding countryside and old buildings of the monastery. The food wasn't just very...good, the presentation was lovely as well, which is not always the case in country restaurants and beer gardens.
We were on a holiday day at lunchtime and got a nice place. drinks are taken by yourself while eating is served in table. our service was not excessively friendly, but eating - Swiss sausage salad with 2 slices jam - was good and a large portion. there is a small menu with Bavarian specialties. after eating, you can go for a walk. parking is sufficient. we were satisfied.
.being satisfied can only be if less than standard claims are placed. in the face of the many praises, I carry out my critique a little further: the palpitate church and also the grounds with playground, the environment, etc. That's all right. but the restaurant is most likely to be brooding, but not at all for a little bit of lunch or dinner. Why?* swirl roast with cheese: sounds good, right? the roasted roasted roasted (smallly fried) comes on a very simple round dish, lying on the cheese-spetched, which in turn drown in the sauce. I like a lot of soaking, but with this amount it would have been clearly better separately in a small terrine. if the sose swaps out of the flat plate, what she did, it is not so great... that it is a simple, jewelleryless dish, some readers may have a tasty here, but because no salad leaf, no tombs or the like, the simple dish or dish censored, the dish (and thus also the dish) seems to be very easy to eat! So it is not in the first line, if it was not even in the top court*. pork roast with dumplings: simple, little stretchy 2 meat slices, well grow, plus 2 (tasteful) cartoffel dumplings. each farm, which also holds a little bit, serves at least one piece of crispy crust; here misrepresentation. is also located in the sauce, which, when serving, swaps over the too flat plate edge. also here: no bright view that would make the look of the meat slices more bearable*. inlay salad: an essentially green salate with 1 tomatenschnitz, about 15 carrots and 6-8 rucola leaves. and salatsoße, uh, dressing. salat collapsed, dressed because probably “arranged” hours ago and also – todsünde – already addressed. optics and taste considerably improveable.Only at the rande: at a birthday party I expect from the service line to decorate the tables (separate part) at least a little more attractive summa summarum: how this local someone can count "his favorite" remains hidden to me. everything, really everything I know better from any middle class restaurant. only the friendly service allows to reach a half additional point (on then 2 1/2 points), sorry.
We were there with a group of 20 people and have enjoyed both the good food and the fast and fun service! the service had always a few fun comments parat! very nice facility, suitable for the region
The klosterstüble oberschoenefeld is one of my absolute favorites in the environment of augsburg. was repeatedly gassed here. you offer traditional high quality dishes to fair trips. both the associated beer garden and the internal spaces of the restaurant offer a very comfortable ambiente.
