Isla Una - Ghaziabad

Isa Una is a three storey food haven that serves authentic filipino comfort food. We were lucky enough to be invited to their grand launch. The first floor is perfect for family gatherings and lunch conferences because it has a bright and eccentric interior. On the second floor, the interior is cozy and dim added with a mini bar on the side that completes the club vibe to it. Lastly, the roofdeck is perfect for romantic dates and for people who love to chill and have an overlook of the Ortigas skyline. One of the owners welcomed us as we enter the restaurant. The staff gave us their house blend iced tea which is perfect to quench our thirst on that day. We were given an option to choose among their best sellers on the menu and we decided to order Crispy pata, Sizzling bulalo, Kare kare, Yamang Dagat and Prawn aligue. Crispy pata (650php) The meat was juicy and crispy just the way I like in a crispy pata. Also, the sauce blends perfectly with the meat. Kare kare (360php) Orignial filipino stew of ox feet, ox shank, tripe and native vegetables in ground peanut sauce. The peanut sauce strikes my taste buds. It's not strong and not bland at the same time. Yamang dagat (410php) Prawns, squid and mussels cooked in a flavorful broth of garlic, ginger and coconut milk. Seafood lovers would definitely love this. Prawn aligue (280php) Prawns cooked in smothering and creamy aligue sauce. The prawns and aligue sauce complement each other and are perfectly paired with rice. Just watch your blood pressure though before eating this food. Sizzling bulalo (490php) slow oven baked beef shanks braised in filipino style herb mushroom gravy. This was the highlight of my lunch. The beef shank was soft and tender and the gravy just melts in your mouth that will make you want to eat more rice. The prices are also not that expensive and are good for sharing. Overall, I enjoyed our lunch stay at Isla Una and will definitely be back to bring my family and friends to experience good authentic Filipino food.

The place is sooo relaxing! They have best ambiance, perfect if you will bring a date. Plus, the place looks exclusive. They are serving filipino food We tried sininang na baboy, kangkong, sisig and shanghai. It's good! The price is swak as well! Maybe because they are still on a dry ran. It was a great experience. A perfect place if you want to dine and to relax!

Reserve and Bugsy's, you better watch out, Isla Una is out to take a bite from the patrons of Citygolf. With its cozy interiors, this 3 floor resto built right smack in the middle of Citygolf is the newest place to be! The ground floor is perfect for family dinners, the second floor is for those who want a club vibe with pounding music and darkened lights while the third floor is like a house veranda which has a cool breeze despite no air-conditioning. The service was impeccable despite still on soft opening. Their menu boasts of Filipino staples like sisig, lechon kawali, etc. They are served in great portions and homemade taste. They have their own bathroom so no need to pay P10 for the common bathroom in citygolf. And despite everything, what I specifically love are their prices. I might just spend my next birthday here as the food and drinks are the cheapest within that compound of bars and restos. Definitely a must visit for all of you looking for a great night cap!

Isla Una won my heart in various ways. I'm not sure who owns this place but I was told that the people behind this place happens to work for Magic 89.9 and might've been the same reason why they had the coolest playlist ever! I'm a big fan of music so it's a big plus for me when restaurants have really good playlists.
