Backyard Taco - Gilbert

I'll be honest, seasoning is key in the food industry, especially in Hispanic restaurants. The meat at this restaurant is cooked well but lacks flavor. The beans are very watery, similar to FILIBERTOS. The salad and salsa bar are fresh and tasty, except for a watery green sauce. It's surprising that a Mexican restaurant doesn't serve rice. Overall, I would prefer to save my money and go to Cali Tacos instead. The Horchata was the highlight of my visit to Back Yard Taco.

I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. I have been here a couple of times and they have gotten our order wrong every time. This will be my last visit. When we went through the drive-thru, our order was incorrect again. When I went inside to get it corrected, they refused to remake my order without a receipt. After some back and forth, they found the receipt but still would not remake my food without me paying the difference. They also had trouble with the math when charging me the correct amount. The food was made incorrectly again, so I decided to just leave. I will not be returning to Backyard Taco due to their terrible customer service.

I ordered the carne asada burrito and pollo tacos, and both were absolutely delicious with a great mesquite smoked flavor. This restaurant is a must-visit if you're craving Mexican food. Rating: 5/5

This place was really good. The food came out quick, hot and delicious. I would definitely come back. Los tacos de al pastor estaban bien ricos.

Great flavor but half of my quesadilla was filled with fatty birria and put together very sloppily.
