We've been for drinks before and it was great, the last few times. we decided to eat Sundays and 6 of us went. first of all, we have to put ourselves with a booking, we were not even shown on the table, the girls just pointed and then told me I could find menus on surrounding tables. Secondly, there was no service that was given to us. for every round of drinks and when ordering our food we had to go into the bar ourselves. we ordered food, but one of our party is vegetarian and allergic to nuts. my partner told me that they won't make the regular menu on Sunday, but she could change the meat for cauliflower cheese or carrots. I then ordered this at the bar for them, but I was told that I couldn't trade it for everything and pay for a roast that I just wouldn't get. we were then served our food. the bark was absolutely beautiful and tasteful. the hunch was so dry that it was unusable. it was literally unusable. I also ordered a side of swarm in cover with which I revived 3. for £2.50 I might expect 5 not 3 cocktail sausages. No one checked us during the meal, no one came to see if it's in order. we stayed for a few more drinks, but we won't be back for dinner.

I made a reservation with open table and got a confirmation number, but when we arrived in the restaurant that had no recording of the reservation! they said, more open table did not call and did not make any reservations! they sat us timely, but I was disappointed in this situation. tom

We went once as a couple then decided to come back the following week as a treat for the kids which turned out to be a good family meal with great service unfortunately there was group that was abit to much with the swearing that spoiled it as we did have the kids with us as was an straight after school booking. Hasn't put us off to much we will be back for another meal hopefully at a more pleasant time.

Nice eating and atmosphere, although can be loud, exactly right when they choose the right time.

Friendly staff, good eating. would definitely return
