Very good food. Surprisingly big menu for a grill. Worth the drive

Gitano Grill Restaurant is a good American/Mississippi food. The breakfast; lunch and dinner is yummy. Monday Fridays hours are from 6am 2pm; Fridays also 5pm to 8pm and 11am 8pm on Saturday. My husband and I enjoy the food; atmosphere and they also have a fabulous bakery of cakes; pies and cookies.

I really liked their chess squares and brownies and they have great hamburgers but their cakes are dry.

All I can say is wow! This is one awesome small town restaurant/grill. I was talking with a guy and he recommended the burger called 5 napkin, I added an egg, when they brought that monster out I was in awe. Very good food and a nice friendly service and homely atmosphere. We'll be back for sure. 3 thumbs up for Gitano Grill !!!

Recently moved to Soso MS from out of state so my knowledge of local restaurants is very limited. Found Gitano while doing a Google search. OMG! The Best CheeseBurger I've had in years. My heart doctor will not be happy but my stomach certainly is.
