CBD Restaurant & Bar at Gladstone Rydges

We had dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sundays !! Our meal was very good with oysters to start and then I had papadelle pasta carbonara which was excellent and my husband had steak. Service was pleasant, but the girl was busy as she was on her own and there were at least 6 tables taken.

The front of house girls were rude and unfriendly, did not make us feel welcome at all.we were the only people in the restaurant ( 8 people) and waiting 1.5 hrs for our food. they forgot my partners meal and the chef walked out of the kitchen and said oh we didn't even have your order anyway...like she was trying to make herself feel better about the situation. My partner finally got his food which was undercooked and fish was raw on the inside. Once again the front of house girls that gave us our food had no smiles on their faces and was so depressing to look at. Will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone

Stayed here for the week. Rooms are getting dated, smell musty. Good central location, good value breakfast, service was slow (mainly understaffed).

We stayed here on the ay to Heron and again on the way back. Great central location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Definitely would stay here again when visiting Gladstone.

I was staying in the hotel and decided to have a meal there, I didn't on the second night. The service was poor and the food barely OK.
