Bo Birdy - Glasgow

My partner took us to this restaurant for our jubilee dinner, and the interior is beautiful. I ordered the soup as an appetizer, which was good but nothing particularly special in my opinion. The burger was also nice, but I don’t think it’s worth the £15 price tag. The chocolate mousse, however, was very enjoyable. The staff were lovely and even treated us to a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate the occasion. Overall, it was a nice restaurant, though some items on the menu felt a bit overpriced, but not excessively so.

With my partner for our jubilee dinner. it's very nice inside must say. once we were brought a glass of free champagne, as it was our jubilee, which was really generous, but unfortunately I drove so that I couldn't drink it if I was a free drink and I can't touch it. Anyway, a little time took to be seen again and because I couldn't drink the champagne meant that I was without something for about 10 minutes or so, but finally got our order. the scallops for the starter were on, very tasty and well cooked. the chicken dish was a dry cloth, but with the broth and the aromen it came together at the end nicely. the chocolate moose was great. I would say the prices for certain things might be a little over price, but it was good eating. personal friendly and helpful, but could do with a tweet on the speed of the service.

All staff following new guidelines, masks worn all the time, hand sanitizer everywhere and social distancing in force. Staff also prompted other diners to follow the rules... Food was good, menu simple but well executed. Fish and chips were good. Small plates were interesting chicken terrine was lovely and a generous salmon starter went down well. Cocktails were good, staff happy to go off menu as well. Service was great as usual, happy to recommend
