On arrival, we were seated immediately at a table under the air conditioning. At first, we welcomed this as it was warm outside, but by the time we left, we were both very cold. For us, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. On the downside, we didn’t think the portion sizes were adequate for main courses and our dauphinoise potatoes didn’t stay warm for long. Dessert was a very disappointing size wise if I’m honest but it was delicious. We had a bottle of wine and a cocktail each. Don’t make the mistake we made and add service charge on as it has already been added on.
For some time, this has been my preferred place to meet up with friends, such a central location. So so sad that Cote is closing. Wishing all staff the best of luck going forward many thanks, nae greetin!
Food was usual Cote menu was fine but restaurant gloomy lacky atmosphere. Disappointing as we have usual enjoyed meals at other Cote branches
Fantastic birthday meal on Saturday 10th June. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, friendly and accommodating staff. All dishes were excellently cooked and extremely tasty.
Visited Cote Glasgow for Lunch and as always wasn't disappointed. This is the first time eating there, having eaten at quite a few other Cote's around the country. A great choice of dishes especially for my wife who is celiac, with their separate gluten-free menu, I wish other restaurants would do the same. Both really enjoyed the food. Waiter went above and beyond when my wife mentioned she had a sore back and he got her a folded blanket which helped ease the pain. Sad news that the restaurant is closing Sunday 25th June, due to some mix-up with the lease, hopefully, they will reopen somewhere else in Glasgow soon.
