Porter Rye - Glasgow

I purchased vouchers for my brother and sister as a Christmas gift, and they used them in February. They said it was the best steak they had ever eaten and described their meal as delicious. They really enjoy dining there!

My friend and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and our waiter provided us with plenty of great recommendations for our trip. The food was amazing, with a lot of attention to detail and a variety of flavors. We got five small dishes and two beers for under £40, which is incredible given the quality. My only comment is that the small plates were a bit smaller than I anticipated, but it was hard to mind that when the food was so delicious.

Delicious! from the huge meat plates hanging in the refrigerator, to the selection of steak knives porter and rye know their things. hydration rump steak and the speck mac and cheese mouth side is the best I had.

Blown away from start to finish. Under £100 for me and the Mrs and that's 3 courses bottle of wine and a cocktail each. Besides the money the food was at a level I wasn't expecting. I tried a bavette steak for a wee change n it was so tasty. Can't wait to visit again.

Outstanding. We had six small plates. Quality! Oxtail soup . Carpacio in smoke. Duck egg. Chicken liver parfait macaroons. Mackerel pate. Venison Haugh!
