The Indian On Skirving Street - Glasgow

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of delicious, freshly prepared meals. Everything was truly delectable. The service was excellent, and the staff were charming and helpful. They serve small plates, which worked perfectly for our party of four. We ordered eight dishes along with rice and bread, and we were all satisfied and full. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is beautiful and the guide offered helpful tips on how to make the most of the dining experience, especially since the food is served in an Indian 'tapas' style. Every dish we tried from the menu was fantastic, featuring a mix of main courses and appetizers, including delicious vegetarian options and roti. Overall, we found the value to be excellent, and it was a delightful twist on traditional Indian cuisine. Should we go back? Absolutely!

Very good meal here. Not your run of the mill restaurant. I got the impression that all of the food was freshly made rather than reheated.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Small plates, we ordered 3 mains, 2 sides and a garlic naan; just about finished it between the two of us but absolutely stuffed. Every dish was brilliant, really well cooked and served to a high standard. The chilli chicken pakora in particular though was a highlight. Bill, with drinks of a white wine and large bottle of beer, just under £50, which for the quality of the food restaurant is outstanding value.

I visited The Indian on Saturday, the place was so busy with a great atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and explained the menu very well as it Is slightly different to the normal Indian restaurants. Its very nice to see a menu with less items on it, as I find some places very confusing with the amount of dishes they have on the menu. We opted for Popadoms with relishes, Veg pakora and Chilli chicken pakora.. Then we had the special lamb chops served with a green chilli mash potato this was incredible) , we had a chicken makahni.. I have never tasted a curry like this, it was so flavourful, and we had the lamb curry, melt in your mouth . Everything tasted so different and so light- we didn't feel so bagged up like you normally do after an Indian. This was honestly the best Indian food I have ever tasted. I can't wait to return. Thank you to all the team here, you guys are superstars.
