Right in the dining hotspot of Melbourne, this place might not be as iconic as Kennedys in Goswell Road, Islington or Toffs in Muswell Hill but it's not far behind. Excellent quality meals and great value too. Even better if you go for lunch. Where else can you get fish (fried or grilled) plus chips or rice and a choice of four salads all for $10, and these are not small meals. Full size portions, tasty, well-cooked and served by friendly staff. If you like a fish meal this is the place for you.

I'm a coeliac and to walk in to a place needing a quick meal and to be assured that the they use a separate frier for the gluten free fish and chips sent me over the moon with elation. one of the simple pleasures in life returned to me. Come to Sydney please!

Initially, we had bypassed this place, as it looked to just be fried fish and chips, but when we looked more closely, they also have a grill, so can grill fish; we had fantastic calamari (best ever), blue grenadier, and dory. Friendly staff, too.

This is a great place, the atmosphere is super, the lunch time special is very good value. The hooked salad and dressing is really good and they add onion which is very tasty.
