Dee Dee's Ice Cream - Glen Margaret

On a beautiful day sitting outside here eating firstly a lobster roll then an ice cream, couldn't be any better on a holiday. Just love the variety of ice cream on offer.

Great little shop for lots of fun ice cream flavors and local ginger beers. We had Mexican chocolate, caramel swirl, and buttered almond. Didn't try the food, but it looked good too.

Alongside the stunning views at Peggy's Cove, there is this little place with two windows. The one on the left serves ice cream and the one on the right serves lobster rolls. The lobster rolls are extremely tasty and full of lobster; this is served with crisps, slaw and a pickle. The meal is topped off with a generous helping of ice cream (Maple Walnut flavour is a must have!)

We had a lobster roll plate in the place next door to this though it doesn't seem to be listed and they shared the kitchen but they took credit and Dee Dee's did not. Anyhow, the lobster roll was great! Ice cream for dessert was great! Not many flavours but well worth it. Great place to stop at while visiting Peggy's Cove

Lots of flavors! We enjoyed Banana Cardamon and chocolate ( made with European dark chocolate especially. Worth a visit!
