Glenlyon General Store

We had coffee outdoors here on a chilly winter's day and it was pleasant enough. Other places I have dined at outdoors, provide a knee blanket which ensures warmth. We were both rugged up and thankfully had an item for our knees in the car. The seats were made of steel which made it rather chilly on our bottoms. Having said that the coffee was amazing and the staff very welcoming. The indoors was full and everyone seemed happy when I went to look at the shelves of inviting goods available for purchase. I look forward to going back in the summer months !

My local store, great staff and good food, if your passing by drop in for a quick cuppa or a awesome meal.

Great coffee', outdoor seating and a great location away from the busy centres of Daylesford and Kyneton. Great service, open fire and a top atmosphere.

This is a brilliant country store cafe restaurant all combined. Lots of really good produce to buy especially if you are having a weekend away in the country and want to whip up something really nice. Plus papers and milk. However the meals here are brilliant, breakfast is certainly a good option and not just the boring old eggs and bacon. Lunch is the same high standard.Another excellent option is sitting out on a cold sunny morning enjoying a coffee, and they do a really good coffee here. Inside there's a couple of fires to warm you up as well.This is easily one of the better country store/cafes you will find.

We visit this store regularly and love the food and the atmosphere. We always feel right at home and the menu changes often. Great coffee, wood fire and lovely goods in the store. Have one of their special Gins! Make sure you don't drive past stop and enjoy all it has to offer
