Pepe Bar Cucina - Glenside

After making a booking and confirming for 10 people we arrived and the venue was closed. We then spoke to the owner about what had happened and he said to my friend on the phone ‘you sl*ts need to get out on my restaurant’. We were all shocked by how we were treated and it was for a special celebration. We then left and went to another venue. I have never experienced this before and will never return.

Great bacon and eggs on Italian toast was a special deal but would have paid full price for it. All cooked to perfection and served with a friendly smile. Highly recommended, and the one hour time limit seems reasonable to stop all the local authors and poets hogging this delightful authentic Italian caffe.

The tomatoe was bruised, the bread stale and the chicken smelled off. I am not going to eat here again.

We discovered La Cucina at Burnside Village for a pre-dinner engagement. We were greeted warmly at this unique cafe-style restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal with drinks and exceptional service. I ordered a perfect Omelette, while my wife had a satisfying Chicken Salad. The portions were generous and we both enjoyed a glass of Hedonist Shiraz and an Iced Coffee. The ambience indoors was cozy and inviting, and the outdoor seating area looked equally appealing, particularly for younger patrons into the evening. Despite living far south of the location, we definitely plan on returning.

I popped in for a light brunch yesterday before checking out the ever delightful burnside shopping center. I chose the small adjoining car park and by chance scored a great spot However there are thousands of other car parks in the bigger parking section so parking is always a breeze. My breakfast frittata had spinach and a few cherry tomatoes on top. Nice crunchy toast accompanied it. Only criticism was it needed more cheese and tomatoes but that’s my personal preference as I love cheese. It came out promptly and the service was very fast and lovely staff. Lots of seating both indoors and outdoors to choose from. Perfect location
