Utzi Espresso - Glenside

The staff at this restaurant is very helpful and polite. The server who assisted us today was particularly nice and provided great guidance on allergens and ingredients. We were impressed with their excellent customer service as well as their delicious Fudge and Macadamia Brownie, which were outstanding.

As regular patrons of Utzi Cafe located in the Burnside Village shopping complex on Portrush Rd, we have noticed that the cafe has recently changed ownership, which we believe has been a positive improvement. The seating arrangements are well-designed, with white tables and comfortable chairs that have white cushions with black backs. The counter is made of white granite with black service areas, giving the cafe a clean and modern appearance. During our visit, we enjoyed a delicious coffee and snack while shopping in the center. The service was exceptional, with a well-coordinated team ensuring that we were promptly attended to. Despite the cafe's central location across from Coles, it was busy but we did not have any complaints about the service or food. The coffee was smooth and warm, with a pleasant aftertaste. Overall, it was a worthwhile visit with good coffee, complimentary newspapers, and WiFi available.

If you enjoy people watching over a steaming mug of good coffee and cake, this is it. Lovely range of cakes to pick from for a relaxing afternoon tea. The sponge cake with cream and strawberries was delightfully light and delicious.
