The gnocchi my partner ordered was as soft as a pillow, and the sauce complemented it perfectly without being too overpowering. I opted for the house-made pillow pasta filled with crab and prawn in a rose sauce, which was also incredibly delicious. For dessert, we tried the homemade fig ice cream and coffee-almond ice cream, both of which were rich and delightful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and appreciated the effort they put into making their own pasta and ice cream. We will definitely return, and we're thinking of bringing my partner's Nona next time!
Replying to daisyum.com: What qualifications do you have to judge the food they serve? If you truly understand food, you should also have a good grasp of its origins. Just so you know, the cheese on the antipasto platter is bocconcini, not mozzarella. It's a small detail, but it really highlights your lack of food knowledge!
We decided on a whim to visit this restaurant with the family, and it has been over a decade since our last visit, which we didn’t enjoy at the time. However, today we were thoroughly impressed! Each of us rated our meals a solid 9 or 10 out of 10. We started with an antipasto platter that featured top-quality prosciutto, capocollo, melon, and a delightful mix of grilled and pickled vegetables, all served with crusty Italian bread and soft butter, just as it should be. My 8-year-old daughter enjoyed homemade gnocchi with ragu, my 16-year-old son had homemade bauletti filled with crab, I opted for veal saltimbocca, and my wife chose the special of the day: handmade ravioli filled with fresh asparagus and ricotta in a rose sauce. Before I placed my order for the veal, I inquired about its quality and was assured it was the best baby veal available. They were spot on— it was melt-in-your-mouth tender, accompanied by a stunning white wine sauce, and served with perfectly cooked potatoes, carrots, and zucchini. Every dish was savored, and we happily mopped up the delicious sauces with our bread. The service was both professional and friendly, provided by distinguished older Italian gentlemen. Overall, it was a genuinely authentic Italian dining experience. While it’s easy to make pasta at home, nothing compares to expertly crafted homemade pasta served right. The wine list is extensive with reasonably priced selections, and although the food might be considered a bit pricey, it’s worth every penny for the quality provided. I’m so glad we decided to return—initially hesitant, we were pleasantly surprised!

Staying nearby on a visit from Victoria! Walking distance, and easy option and not at all disappointed. I had the linguine vongoli and hubby had the veal with Gorgonzola ! Pasta very good and quality of veal exceptional ! Would definitely return! Not too pricey and good value but the BYO $16 charge is over the top and too excessive. Needs a rethink!
