Golden Moon Speakeasy

Golden offers some excellent cocktails, but for my money, the drinks at Golden Moon are unmatched. Initially, it was just a tasting room for their local distillery, but it quickly transformed into a full-fledged cocktail bar that serves all of its own creations in a speakeasy-style setting. The drinks, staff, and atmosphere are all fantastic. On busy nights, be prepared to wait a bit, but the drinks are definitely worth it. Pro tip: consider picking up a bottle to take home. Their single malt whiskeys are exceptional.

Ella, the bartender, was incredibly knowledgeable during our spirit tasting. Since it wasn't busy when we visited, we had plenty of time to gather useful information. We ended up buying two bottles and can't wait to share them. We didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that, but overall, it was a great spot!

I had no idea when I arrived that this place is also a distillery. We tried their house single malt and absinthe. They had slightly different flavor profiles than what we're accustomed to, but we really enjoyed them. The drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was casual and quiet (definitely not your typical bar scene), and the service was excellent! We will definitely be back.

Craft cocktails in a speakeasy atmosphere. Local distilled selections and a unique mix of libations. Bottles available for purchase. Their Mixologists are knowledgeable and talented and can craft up a delectable drink for you. Good charcuterie plates should you want a nibble during your visit. Sometimes they have live music. Good for a date night or a small gathering with friends.
